King
Arthur: Part One
·
Arthur was faced with many battles to
engage in and many Kings to conquer before everyone would recognize him as the
lord of them all. There were many times he did not listen to the wisdom that
Merlin provided to him, but was bailed out of each situation by his sword
Excalibur. This is when he actually listened to Merlin and only drew his sword
when things got extremely bad for him.
·
One of the many wars, when King Arthur
and King Ban and King Bors went to help the King of Cameliard.
·
His strange dream was that of the land
was overrun with gryphons and serpents which burnt and slew his people. This
lead to him making war on these monsters, and was severely wounded, but at last
he killed all of the gryphons and serpents.
·
He finally awoke and the dream was still
resting upon his thoughts. He decided to call for his knights to go hunting
with him to clear this dream from his mind.
·
After chasing a hart and not being able
to check up with it, Arthur decided to sit under a tree and rest. At this
moment, he heard the sounds of hounds. This led to him looking and seeing a
very strange beast that he had not found before in his kingdom.
·
A Knight rode by the King and asked if a
strange beast had gone in this direction. Arthur answered the Knight. The
Knight said that he had been following the beast from a far.
